Objectives

The objectives of this training programme are to impart basic knowledge of theory and applications of CGE models to researchers in South Asia; enhance policy research capacity using CGE models on issues relating to the interlinkages between trade, climate change and food security; and expand the network of South Asian researchers. This year, a few alumnai that have used CGE models in their research are also being invited to present their work.
