This research was conducted for Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal. The research analyses various aspects of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), particularly its five agreements that concern with public health and identifies the policy issues and concerns for Nepal. Nepal had become a WTO Member in April 2004.
SAWTEE and Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) organised a one day workshop on Competition Law for Economic Development on 16 March 2006. The workshop aimed at apprising relevant stakeholders on competition issues and discuss the relevance of a Competition law.
